The difference a day makes

Yesterday I was feeling so good after my hard run and then at about 11am my nose started running and I started sneezing and now I feel like someone has run over my head with a large truck :( I hate colds, why hasn't someone invented a cure yet.. I even tried half a bar of chococlate last night to no avail!

Yuk, yuk, yuk..
Am retreating back to bed with drugs, good thing today was a rest day anyway and I hope I can at least do something tomorrow, although interval training is probably not wise.

Oh you poor thing :-( I reckon colds at this time of year feel worse than winter too.

Take care, and persist with that chocolate therapy - it won't happen overnight, but it will happen :-)

Oh no Lulu. So sorry to hear about your cold, particularly after yesterday's great session. Take it easy today and hopefully you'll be right to do a light session tomorrow.

And I think Tesso's advice is good - keep up that chocolate therapy :-)

Ickers Lulu warm/hot weather colds are the worst...

You can afford to take a couple of days rest - be gentle & come back strong.

Tesso is right - it won't happen over night but chocolate is full of anti-cold vitamins and minerals - might start a thread on CR "Chocolate Cures Colds" ;-)

What do you mean? I thought chocolate fixed everything! (although not ITB apparently)

Dr DJ says,
only cure is non-stop blind tasting of 24 French and Australian wines until you get their details all correct including winery, label, grape variety, year, wine-maker, soil composition, and slope of the vines.

For treatment of most ailments, I've also found jumping in a hot spring with naked companions very envigorating and curative.

How are you going Miss Lulu?

I hope you are feeling better. Chocolate therapy is excellent for colds, though not so excellent for ITBs :-(
