I think it's progress
My run this morning started on a great note when I bumped into blckbox and Sydneygal who were out tackling some hills and the coastal path this morning. Had a brief chat before we headed off in opposite directions and very good to meet blckbox in person.I then headed down to Queen's and Centennial parks for my 40 minute loop. Everything felt pretty good today; nothing much to write about in the niggles department and I feel that we are making progress on the itb issues. Just the old dodgy right knee was grumbling but on a scale of 1-10 it was only a 1 or 2 on the pain levels.
I felt pretty energetic today as well and as if I'm making some progress on my fitness too. All in all not a bad run. Tomorrow I'll do a 35 min tempo run and then I have a morning of fixing the niggles with an appointment with the phsyio and then another session with Easy Tiger to continue the good work. Maybe I can get this old body to run after all:)
Haven't made any progress on the weight loss this week but feel slimmer so that's all that counts!
Food:
B: Banana smoothie
MT: Choc peanut protein bar and coffee
L: Jaffa PS
AT:Nuts, 2 oat cakes with cheese and an apple
D: Roast chicken, pumpkin, corn and zucchini

Don't forget that now you are upping the workouts youwill be building a bit of muscle - use the tried and test belt loop test not the scales ;-)
A 1 or 2 on the pain level is fantastic!!!
